WHAT IS
"BACK TO BASICS"
ALL ABOUT? /
In just under a decade we have seen the unfolding of a 'global wellness movement', which has produced an unprecedented amount of knowledge and information that gives us all an incredible opportunity to improve our health and wellbeing on all levels, mind body and spirit.

This wellness movement is bringing a plethora of fitness, diet, healthy living and wellbeing concepts and offerings, which are transforming every industry from food and beverage to travel, and has spawned a 'wellness industry' now worth almost $US4 Trillion.

However, with this movement has come much misinformation and misunderstanding, with the dilution and erosion of basic (traditional) knowledge, being replaced with modern concepts that can take the form of fads, gimmicks, hype, and vested interests.

This is what gave birth to the idea of a "Back to Basics" program.

Dreamed and realised by compassionate holistic individuals who care about your health and wellbeing, the program aims to empower you to make the right choices for your wellness.

The vision and mission of this program is therefore to explore and uncover the vast ancient knowledge and the scientific evidence for some of the most common (and not so well-known) wellness therapies.

The experts will distil, decipher and deliver this information in an easy to understand yet sophisticated series of seminars.
With thousands of studies evaluating the benefits of approaches like meditation, yoga and aromatherapy, the "Back to Basics" experts will present the most relevant authoritative sources of scientific evidence to support age-old practices.
The "Back to Basics" program therefore synergises the 'old' and the 'new' to simply give you unbiased honest information (no gimmicks). Not to spoon-feed advice on how to live, but to give the means to challenge that advice, and hold it to account, therefore empowering you to make the right choice for your own journey of wellbeing.

Topics will cover all aspects of wellbeing (mind, body, and spirit), ranging from digestive health, medicinal plant therapy, Indigenous healing ways (e.g. plant medicine, sound technology), as well as highly debated issues like vaccinations.
